Individual therapy services

At The Bloom Room, I offer a distinctive approach to individual therapy based on an Integrative model. By combining aspects of Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy—with a particular emphasis on Attachment Theory—I provide a comprehensive and personalised therapeutic experience for each client.


My Therapeutic Approach


1. Person-Centred Therapy: I prioritise creating a safe, non-judgmental environment that encourages self-exploration and personal growth. By practising empathy and offering unconditional positive regard, I help you uncover your true feelings, beliefs, and desires, enabling you to work towards your goals.


2. Transactional Analysis (TA): I use TA to help you understand the dynamics of your interactions with others. By examining the different ‘ego states’—Parent, Adult, and Child—that influence your behaviour, we can identify patterns in your communication and relationships. This awareness allows you to develop healthier interactions and enhance your self-awareness.


3. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): In our sessions, we will focus on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviours that may be holding you back. CBT is a structured, goal-oriented approach that equips you with practical strategies to change your thinking and reactions, promoting emotional well-being and resilience.


4. Psychodynamic Therapy: This approach delves into the unconscious processes that affect your thoughts and behaviours. By exploring your past experiences and attachment styles, we can gain insight into current patterns in your relationships and emotional responses.
